So tonight I just attended a general assembly in San Francisco in response to what has been happening on Wall Street in New York. I support the movement for a multitude of reasons and I was very glad to have attended and seen the optimism people share for a better future. Unfortunately however, I have also seen the very inefficient and unproductive means these ideas were being shared and distributed. I’m not giving up yet, perhaps tonight was just a little demotivating because of the rain, cold, and thus lack of people (only about 100 or so). I hope that together these cities can somehow work together and produce a universal way to express our feelings and really get ideas out to others. Anyway, it was interesting but kind of disappointing, I hope the next assembly or event is better organized.
